I Am Running for Georgia State
Representative in 2028

Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Supporters,

After careful consideration and due to health-related concerns, I have decided to run for Georgia State Representative in the 2028 election cycle.

This timeline gives me the necessary time to focus on my health and recovery while still preparing thoroughly for the campaign. I am committed to serving our community with the energy, focus, and dedication it deserves, and I believe 2028 provides the best opportunity to do so effectively.

I will continue to stay engaged in our district and will share updates as my health improves and as we move closer to the 2028 qualifying period. Your continued support, encouragement, and patience mean more to me than I can express.

Thank you for standing with me. Together, we will work toward a stronger, healthier Georgia.

With gratitude,
Mohammad Khan

★ My Pledge to Georgia ★

Inspired by the unbreakable spirit of Southern Heritage & Traditions, Close-Knit Families and Georgia's Communities, I am running to serve as your State Representative (District 7) — uniting us to build a brighter tomorrow where every child thrives in world-class schools, every family lives with dignity in affordable homes, every worker earns a fair wage with real opportunity, and every neighborhood feels safe and strong.

Together, we will rise to create a more just, prosperous, and inclusive Georgia that truly works for all of us — while ensuring our voices are heard in Atlanta and fighting for a fairer, more prosperous Georgia for all.

🗣️

I will speak for people who are the disenfranchised ones in our society — the inequals and inadequates — where most leaders stay in silence. I will be the VOICE regardless of any backlash and will uphold what is morally right, honor family values and tradition, and show respect to our SOUTHERN TRADITION and HERITAGE.

🌉

My mission is to bridge divides, invest in our future through practical solutions and innovations, and deliver results that make life better for families in our State today and for generations to come. I promise I will never back down from defending our conservative values.

My Pledge

I pledge to serve our community to my utmost ability. I also pledge to glorify our history, our roots, and recognize that both General Lee and Dr. King are our Southern Heroes — both men fought courageously for what they believed was right in their respective contexts:

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Fought for equality and justice in a modern democracy — a towering moral force whose vision of a just America endures forever.

⚔️
General Robert E. Lee

Fought for regional loyalty and states' rights amid national division — a man of principle whose legacy is part of our Southern roots.

Both men shaped history in ways their eras demanded. We honor them both — together — on the 3rd Monday in January: the King-Lee Holiday.

💡 Trivia — Did You Know?

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. entered the world in Atlanta on January 15, 1929, while General Robert E. Lee was born just four calendar days later on January 19, 1807, in Virginia — a striking historical coincidence spanning over a century.

Georgia Voters
★ In His Own Words ★

My Voice. Unfiltered.

Mohammad Khan says what he believes — regardless of consequences. Three pillars. Straight talk. No filter.

📜

My Acceptance Speech

To all Georgia 7th District Constituents and fellow Southerners — why I am throwing my name in the hat, what I stand for, and why this moment matters for every Georgian who just wants to be heard.

“I will be your voice to the rest of the world.”

⚖️

History & the Reparation Debate

Controversial — but it is on every Southerner's mind. As an Asian immigrant who has watched America wrestle with its past, Khan offers an honest, unfiltered view on history, monuments, and reparations.

“A great nation must do what is right — not just make it look right.”

🌽

My Version of the South

South of the Mason-Dixon line — corn and peanuts, gators in the Okefenokee, sweet tea, Southern Belles, Waffle House on Sunday. Mohammad Khan's love letter to the Greater South in his own words.

“We don't see color — white or black — we only see the color of nature.”

Mohammad Khan for State Representative

A campaign built by Georgians, for Georgians — rooted in the Greater South, driven by the American Dream.

For the Greater South Hope & Faith Change & Adapt Do Right Make a Difference
Who We Are

A Movement for the
Greater South

We are the campaign of Mohammad Khan for State Representative, Georgia 7th District — a grassroots movement built by neighbors, veterans, small business owners, families, and everyday Georgians who believe it is time for real change in the statehouse.

Our candidate is not a career politician. He is a man who came to this country 31 years ago with nothing but drive and determination, built businesses across Georgia from Statesboro to North Georgia & Blue Ridge Mountain Foothills, and earned the trust of every community he entered through hard work and genuine connection.

This campaign is for the people who can't express their voices and just want to be heard. Mohammad Khan will be that voice.

Mohammad Khan and Tammie

We live in the greatest country on earth. There is no reason we cannot take care of working class people in our community. In our Government I will fight to ensure everyone gets a fair share and is treated equally and fair. We do not have to live scared in our own home — we have the right to all that life offers.

I will speak my mind, what I believe regardless of consequences. I will speak where everyone else stays in silence under the Cloak of Politically Correct.

— Mohammad Khan

The American Dream

How & Where It All Started

Raised by an academically excellent Government Public Servant father and a highly educated retired Professor mother, Khan worked to make it in life and learned the value of things from very early on. He learned the importance of hard work — no waste, save every penny. It made him the successful businessman he is today, and instilled in him the need to create an economy that works for everyone.

Khan came to this country almost 31 years ago to attend Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, studying Accounting with a minor in Biology. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and a PhD in MetaPhysical Theology from American University — a pioneer in e-learning — with a thesis on Comparative Religion.

During this time he was awarded the prestigious Wall Street Journal Excellence Award, received special gifts from President Bill Clinton, and was invited to represent his fellow members at the White House. He is also a published author and contributing writer to several books and newspapers.

A head-on collision with a garbage truck — broken femur, ankle, knee, and six ribs. The accident left Khan disabled but deepened his faith in Allah (God), family, and his urgency to give back. It led him to run.

The People He Fights For

Family & Community

Khan is married to Tammie (“Mimi”) Brown for eight years. Together their home includes son Aaron Khan, stepsons Jared Brown and Tyler Gandy — who proudly serves in the United States Navy — and stepdaughter Jennifer Brown.

Their home also includes four pups — Bella, Diego, Lila, and Milo — a cat named Luna, and the loving memory of late pups Lola and Luie.

Khan is especially proud of Tyler's Navy service and advocates for young people joining the armed forces: “Have their college paid for while learning discipline that can shape their future forever.”

“Rural Georgia reminds me a lot about the time I came to this country and grew up in my teens in Statesboro — the Gnats Capital of the World. Here people are open-hearted, peaceful and quiet and life is a lot less stressful. North Georgia & Blue Ridge Mountain Foothills reminds me a lot of that and makes me feel safe. How & Where It All Started

Built in Georgia.
For Georgia.

Mohammad Khan is the American Dream — not in the abstract, but in the literal, lived sense. Almost 31 years ago, a young man arrived in Statesboro, Georgia to attend Georgia Southern University, ready to study Accounting with a minor in Biology. What he found was far greater than a degree: a community that shaped him, a culture that claimed him, and a state he would one day fight to represent.

Raised by a Government Public Servant father whose work ethic was legendary, and a retired Professor mother whose love of learning was contagious, Khan absorbed from childhood the truth that nothing worthwhile comes without sacrifice — no waste, save every penny, work hard. Those lessons built the businessman. Now they fuel the candidate.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Georgia Southern, and a PhD in MetaPhysical Theology from American University — a pioneer in e-learning — with a thesis on Comparative Religion. During that period he earned the prestigious Wall Street Journal Excellence Award, received special recognition from President Bill Clinton, and was invited to the White House to represent his peers. He is also a published author and contributing writer to multiple books and newspapers.

A Life of Building Georgia

~11 Years · Savannah, Georgia

TimeSaver & Sadler Group

While still a college student, Khan began working with TimeSaver and Sadler Group in Savannah and stayed for eleven years. Working directly with everyday Georgians gave him what would become his greatest asset: genuine people skills. He credits the late CEO Jeff Sirmans and late COO Jimmy Eason as mentors who shaped his character for life.

Entrepreneur · Statesboro & Warner Robins

Don Coleone's Pizza & Restaurant Group

Khan founded Don Coleone's Pizza ℠ in the heart of the Georgia Southern campus — and it thrived. He expanded with additional restaurants in Warner Robins and Statesboro, creating jobs and deepening his roots in South Georgia.

Leap of Faith · After 22 Years in Statesboro

Retail & U-Haul Dealership — Acworth & Duluth, Gwinnett County

After nearly 22 years in Statesboro, Khan took the leap to the Atlanta metro area, operating retail businesses and a U-Haul dealership across Gwinnett County for six years — always growing, always serving.

Today · North Georgia, North Georgia & Blue Ridge Mountain Foothills

MOHAMMAD KHAN BUSINESS & LEGAL SERVICES LLC

Today Khan leads his investment company spanning Tax & Accounting, Real Estate, Retail, and Legal Services. He is active in the Kiwanis Club, leads the Khan Investment Group Foundation, and supports Creative Thinking @ Box Paradigm. He is currently enrolled in law school pursuing his Juris Doctor (J.D.).

2028 · Georgia 7th District

Running for State Representative

Three decades of Georgia. Eleven years of people work. Multiple businesses built from nothing. A law degree in progress. A disability earned from a near-fatal accident. And a heart that still burns for the working Georgian. Candidacy accepted July 27th, 2023.

A Life-Changing Moment

March 11th, 2022

On a morning that changed everything, Khan's Chevy 4WD Silverado collided head-on with a garbage truck. The injuries were severe — a broken femur, ankle, knee, and six ribs. The road to recovery was long. The accident left him with a permanent disability.

But Khan says it didn't break him — it woke him up. “The accident changed me and made me realize, firsthand, the importance of Allah (God), family, life, love, and the urgency of giving back to those from whom we take so much.”

Even disabled, his outlook on people and society never changed. He now gives blessings more often to Almighty Allah (God), to family, and to the state that gave him a second — and now a third — chance at something meaningful.

Family: His Greatest Strength

Khan has been married to Tammie (“Mimi”) Brown for eight years. Together they share a full home: son Aaron Khan (from a previous marriage with Sasha Bell), stepsons Jared Brown and Tyler Gandy — who proudly serves in the United States Navy — and stepdaughter Jennifer Brown. Their household also includes four beloved pups — Bella, Diego, Lila, and Milo — a cat named Luna, and the cherished memory of late pups Lola and Luie.

Khan is especially proud of Tyler's service in the Navy and is a passionate advocate for young people joining the armed forces. “Have their college paid for while learning discipline that can shape their future forever.”

His Heart: Rural Georgia & The Greater South

Khan's deepest affection is for the small rural towns of South Georgia — the open-hearted places where life moves slower and neighbors still greet strangers. It was in Statesboro, the “Gnats Capital of the World,” that he found himself as a young man. And it is in North Georgia, North Georgia & Blue Ridge Mountain Foothills where he has found his forever home.

Rural Georgia reminds me a lot about the time I came to this country and grew up in my teens in Statesboro — the Gnats Capital of the World. Here people are open-hearted, peaceful and quiet and life is a lot less stressful. North Georgia & Blue Ridge Mountain Foothills reminds me a lot of that and makes me feel safe. I love it here — this is my home in my heart and I would not trade it for anything. North Georgia and North Georgia & Blue Ridge Mountain Foothills and its people and neighbors are that close to my Heart.

Candidacy Accepted — July 27th, 2023

My Acceptance Speech

To: All Georgia 7th District Constituents & Fellow Southerners

After many arguments with myself, I have finally come to the conclusion and have decided that I am throwing my name in the hat and be a candidate for the Georgia State Representative from the 7th District — and to ask for the support of all Georgians who share my belief that we as a State need to embark on a new and constructive course.

I believe my candidacy will be healthy for the State and the Nation as a whole — and for the people who can't express their voices, who just want to be heard. I will be your voice to the rest of the world.

In my opinion, the root of today's problems lies right here in local areas — where it has become the seat of a “buddy” system that functions for its own benefit, increasingly insensitive to the needs of the Georgians who support it with their taxes. It is increasingly becoming a Good Ole Boy system. Today it is difficult to find leaders who are independent of the forces that have brought us to our problems — the lobbyists and the spin doctors that enable them. Lobbyists are the forefront of corruption, and their contributions can be better used for the purpose we all deserve.

We no longer should live in fear of oppression, in fear of racism, and in fear of being proud of our Southern Heritage. If we are to survive and go forward, this must change.

King-Lee Holiday — Human Rights & Citizen Holiday

★ King-Lee Holiday & Southern Heritage

Born January 15, 1929
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Southern Hero · Civil Rights Era
⚔️
Born January 19, 1807
Confederate General Robert E. Lee
Southern Hero · Civil War Era

Both men are viewed as Southern Heroes in their respective eras — honored together on the 3rd Monday of January.

I believe in Dr. Martin Luther King's nonviolent responses — and while at times we need swift and patriotic military responses like General Lee would have commanded — both are our Heroes, but in two different eras, and I support them both.

I support observing a joint Holiday on the 3rd Monday in January called the “King-Lee Holiday” — for Human Rights & Citizen Awareness. No matter how brutal it was, history is our roots, where we came from.

Our Southern tradition is based on Southern Hospitality and Southern Charm — where ALL races matter, not only “Black Lives Matter” — instead we embrace “ALL LIVES MATTER”. Lives matter regardless. That is what separates us from other animals.

My Platform Positions — In My Own Words

Gun Control & Gun Safety
King-Lee Holiday — Human Rights & Citizen Day
Against Any Reparation
Pro-Life — with extreme & swift trial for those who harm women & children
Stricter sentences for abuse of Elders
Education First Program
Legalize Certain Drugs & Herbal with Higher Tax for Public Improvement
Preserve History & Heritage
For All Lives Matter
Additional Public Safety Training — Stop Monday Night Quarterbacking Against LEO
Celebrate General Robert E. Lee as a Southern Hero alongside Dr. King
Prosecute Good Ole Boy systems — equal justice for all

We, as a people, aren't happy if we are not moving forward. We must offer progress instead of stagnation; the truth instead of promises; hope and faith instead of despair. We should help others to succeed instead of holding them back — shake hands with the devils but not dance.

So, I welcome y'all to join in my journey to build a Greater Nation and work towards a Greater South. I am begging your help and asking for your vote and support in 2028. I believe in HOPE & FAITH, CHANGE & ADAPT AND DO RIGHT — MAKE A CHANGE ONE AT A TIME.

With Gratitude,

Mohammad Khan

Controversial — But It Is On Every Southerner's Mind

My View on History & the Reparation Debate

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.”

— Desmond Tutu

As an Asian immigrant, I have mostly sat in observation as I see America repeatedly confronted by raging controversy on symbols that bring up old wounds, unresolved feelings, and unsettled arguments on race — and in the South, the age-old Confederacy issue.

I am all for visiting the subject matter and discussing it — rather than assuming that the U.S. owes reparations. The U.S. did pay reparations to Japanese-Americans for their WWII internment. There are little-known instances of former slave owners individually granting reparations. But I am not in favor of paying any sort of reparation — to any group, regardless of ethnicity or origin. The question deserves honest debate, not political theater.

All of history is full of brutality and bloodshed — the Roman Empire, the Ottomans, the British Empire where “the sun never sets.” We may not be particularly proud of every chapter, but they are part of our history. To erase them is not progress — it is self-deception.

On Statues, Monuments & the Truth of History

Statues do not do a particularly effective job of documenting the past or educating people. But the destruction of accurate history is about more than schools. It is about self-determination. It is about having the freedom to make good decisions about your life. It is about the very things democracy is supposed to stand for.

We can argue all day as to why or why not — but that won't solve the problem. What has been done is done. We cannot make it right with money. All we can do is, going forward, be more sensitive to others' needs and do the right thing.

I may not make you agree with my views on these issues — but one thing I can make you agree on: our interests have been at risk more and more at home and abroad due to the politically correct action plans we have been adhering to for the last 50 years.

A great nation must spend every resource possible to do what is right — not just to make it look right. Today is the time to be more sensitive to our own needs, more proactive to an ever-changing world — mindful, creative, and above all, FAIR.

My Version of the South

🌽
South of the Mason-Dixon Line

“I am gonna say it one more time — we are from the south of the Mason-Dixon line, where we grew up eating corn and peanuts and where we fish with the gators in the Okefenokee swamp and marsh area, where we have the southern charm. We love momma's sweet tea and homemade lemonade; we farm in 100 plus degree day where hunting and fishing is a daily ritual and we don't use OFF bug spray for gnats and ticks.

We are proud and show respect to our “Stars and Bars” of red, white, and blue — emblematic in heraldry of valor, purity and truth. We cook out every weekend and we drink moonshine in one hand and a bottle of Colt 45 in the other. We smile and happy all the time — we spit on the roadway and chew tobacco and throw grits on the dance floor for Thursday night karaoke and Friday night line dancing.

We got the most beautiful ladies with perfect smiles and they all wear jeans, cowboy boots and Stetson hats, even on Sunday Church. We call them Southern Belles — and they all know how to swing on a dance floor, do the two-step and electric slide. Walmart is our local mall and Waffle House is where we go for Sunday brunch after Church.

We have brothers and sisters from different mothers who are black but we all bleed the same — “Red” — and we work together for a better America and Greater South. Race is a northerner Yankee thing. We don't know what it means. We don't see color — white or black — we only see the color of nature and hear the sound of crickets at night.

📍

How to Find Us — Southern Style

Only direction you will need to get to our home: via Dixie Highway, go through the only traffic light in this town, and at the next stop sign at the corner where General Lee's statue, take a right — then go one tenth of a mile on MLK Blvd and “go over yonder” and you will see the big white oak tree — take a left and the first big house on your right with the white picket fence and wrap-around porch. That's our home.

We love everyone — black, white, yellow, Asian, Arab or Mexican. We are all God's children and we all live in peace. We wake up at the rooster's calling at 4 a.m. and start the day all over again. We call every dude “Bo” and every lady “Ma'am” with respect, and we talk with a long accent. We hold the door and pull the chair for the ladies — otherwise momma will crack me upside on the head.

“We are Southern folks with Southern value and tradition and love Dixieland Delight. Let's work together for the GREATER SOUTH.”

"Unfortunately, education is an individual learning process that a lot pursue but few pursue high levels. Too many key factors are placed on the back burners by biased educators, greed seekers and politicians. It's up to each individual to research and develop what their comfort zone is."

"A degree of any kind is nice but not needed in many cases to be a highly productive citizen. Degrees should not be continually pushed — many times for university financial gains! There are way too many free rides and high paying positions for a choice few!"

"Laws, self-discipline, survival skills as well as skilled crafts training are severely overlooked in the continued education process. Skilled craft training facilities should be as easily located as universities."

We Can Make a Difference

For the Greater South Our Heritage We All Can Co-Exist

"History is our connection to our past and heritage. We must preserve it as accurately as possible, and must not re-write it just because we do not like it and because we can."

— Mohammad Khan

🏛️
Heritage & History

Preserving Our Southern Legacy

Recognize General Lee & Dr. King as Southern Legends

We must recognize both General Robert E. Lee and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as our Southern Legends — each a towering figure whose life and sacrifice shaped the South and the nation we share today.

King-Lee Holiday — 3rd Monday in January

On the 3rd Monday in January, we can celebrate the "King-Lee Holiday" to honor both of our legends — General Lee and Dr. King — together. Two men, one shared Southern heritage, one united future.

🏛️

Stop Removing Confederate Monuments & Memorials

We must stop removing Confederate monuments and memorials. Our history must be preserved intact. To erase a monument is not to erase history — it is to erase our ability to honestly reckon with it.

🚫

No Renaming Roads & Streets for Political Correctness

There is no room for racism — and we must not change the names of roads and streets just to be politically correct. Real change comes from real action, not from renaming a street.

⚖️
Justice & Equality

All Lives Matter — Every Single One

🤝

Promote "All Lives Matter"

We are in favor of promoting "All Lives Matter" — not just any particular color or race. Every human being deserves dignity, equal protection, and equal opportunity under the law. Period.

Against Reparations of Any Kind

Against any reparation regardless of ethnicity or origin. Instead, we should ask to be reimbursed for what was taken. True justice moves forward — it does not redistribute grievance.

🔨

Tear Down the Good Ole Boy System

In favor of tearing down the Good Ole Boy systems that still exist. We must hold our judicial members fully accountable to the people they serve — not to each other.

🛡️
Law, Safety & Families

Protect the Innocent. Reunite Families.

Fast-Track Death Penalties for Child Abuse, Incest & Rape

We must fast-track death penalties for child abuse, incest, and rape. We must protect the victims and uphold due process — no delays, no loopholes, no exceptions for the most heinous crimes against the most vulnerable.

👨‍👩‍👧

Reunite Families — Hold DFCS Accountable

We must reunite families. DFCS must do its job and be held accountable. No family should be torn apart when help and hope can keep them together. Family is the foundation — and we will protect it.

👶

Child Custody — Qualified Personnel & Full Accountability

The removal of a child from custody must be handled only by qualified personnel — and they must be held fully accountable for every decision they make. A child's life is not a bureaucratic checkbox.
