Started
Raised by an academically excellent Government Public Servant father and a highly educated retired Professor mother, Mohammad Khan learned the value of hard work from very early on — no waste, save every penny. Those lessons shaped both the businessman and the candidate he is today.
Khan came to this country almost 31 years ago to attend Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, studying Accounting with a minor in Biology. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and a PhD in MetaPhysical Theology from American University, with a thesis on Comparative Religion.
During this time he was awarded the prestigious Wall Street Journal Excellence Award, received gifts from President Bill Clinton, and was invited to represent his fellow members at the White House. He is also a published author and contributing writer to several books and newspapers.
Khan currently operates MOHAMMAD KHAN BUSINESS & LEGAL SERVICES LLC — serving clients in Tax, Accounting, Real Estate, Retail, and Legal Services. He is also pursuing his Juris Doctor (J.D.) to help even more people, and is active in the Kiwanis Club, Khan Investment Group Foundation, and Creative Thinking @ Box Paradigm.

Inspired by faith, family, and a near-fatal accident that changed everything, Mohammad Khan formally accepted his candidacy for Georgia State Representative, 7th District.

Community
Khan is married to Tammie (“Mimi”) Brown for eight years. Their family includes son Aaron Khan, stepsons Jared Brown and Tyler Gandy — who proudly serves in the United States Navy — and stepdaughter Jennifer Brown.
Their home is also shared with four pups — Bella, Diego, Lila, and Milo — a cat named Luna, and the loving memory of late pups Lola and Luie.
Khan is especially proud that Tyler serves the U.S. Navy and advocates for young people joining the armed services — college paid for while learning discipline that shapes a future forever.
