Candidacy Acceptance Speech

After many arguments with myself, I have finally come to the conclusion and have decided that I am throwing my name in the hat and be a candidate for the Georgia State Representative from the 7th District — and to ask for the support of all Georgians who share my belief that we as a State need to embark on a new and constructive course. I believe my candidacy will be healthy for the State and the Nation as a whole, and for the people who can't express their voices, and who just want to be heard. I will be your voice to the rest of the world.

In my opinion, the root of today's problems lies right here in local areas where it has become the seat of a "buddy" system that functions for its own benefit — increasingly insensitive to the needs of the Georgians who support it with their taxes, and it is increasingly becoming a Good Ole' Boy system. Today it is difficult to find leaders who are independent of the forces that have brought us to our problems — the segmented ones that control the rest, and the lobbyists and the spin doctors that enable them. I believe lobbyists are the forefront of corruption and their contributions can be best used in other means for the purpose we all deserve.

If we are to survive and go forward, this must change. We no longer should live in fear of oppression, in fear of racism, and in fear of being proud of our Southern Heritage. I believe in Dr. Martin Luther King's nonviolent responses — and while at times we need swift and patriotic military responses like General Lee would have commanded — both are our Heroes, but in two different eras, and I support them both. I support observing a joint Holiday on 3rd Mondays in January called "King-Lee Holiday" — for Human Rights & Citizen Awareness. No matter how brutal it was, History is our roots, where we came from. Our Southern tradition is based on Southern Hospitality and Southern Charm where all races matter — not only "Black Lives Matter" — instead we should embrace "All Lives Matter", and we shall rally behind them, because lives matter regardless. That's what separates us from other animals.

I am not scared to say that we should thrive for our age-old Southern Tradition and Hospitality. We want to rebuild the Greater South where we all feel safe regardless of being Black, White, Asian, Latino, or Spanish. Lives Matter at all levels — we all bleed the same. We respect others and we help them unconditionally; it is deeply rooted in our tradition. In the coming months I will take this message to all Georgians. I will talk in detail about being a responsible, responsive government. I will tell the people it is they who should decide our destiny and how much government they want — they are in the control driver's seat of this new era. I always speak my mind; maybe it is hard at times to swallow, even for me. But I shall not coward away from the issues that I deeply believe in.

I believe in: Gun Control & Gun Safety · King-Lee Holiday · Against Any Reparation · Pro-Life but Extreme and Swift Trial to those who harm our women and children and to those who can't defend for themselves · Stricter sentences against abuse towards Elders · Education First Program · Legalize Certain Drugs and Herbal with Higher Tax to offset Public Improvement Costs · Preserve History · All Lives Matter · Additional Public Safety Training · Stop Monday Night Quarterbacking against Law Enforcement Officers · Preserve Heritage and Traditions · Celebrate General Robert Lee as a Southern Hero alongside Dr. King. I shall not veer off from what I believe — and I am all for systematically prosecuting the Good Ole' Boys' systems where laws were once served in favor of very few of our society. As a country we can rise above it all and help our neighbors and the homeless, and work with the needy and single families to help them contribute more to meet our growing demands of society.

We, as a people, aren't happy if we are not moving forward. A nation that is growing and thriving is the one which will solve its problems, regardless of what others think. What is right is always right — we don't have to sugar coat. We should not believe in alternate facts; rather stick with good old traditional facts and truth, and that shall set us free in our mind and spirit. We must offer progress instead of stagnation; the truth instead of promises; hope and faith instead of despair. We should help others to succeed instead of holding them back — we should shake hands with the devils but not dance. Then, I am sure, the people will make those decisions which will restore confidence in our way of life and bring back out what is the American spirit and Our Southern Traditions.
